Are Sprites still under active development?

After a very healthy release note cadence, there hasn’t been a single update in the logs in almost a month in a half Sprites - Stateful sandboxes

The sprites-js repo hasn’t seen updates in 3 months GitHub - superfly/sprites-js · GitHub

The docs are the most active sprites-related repo and they’ve seen about 10 commits in the last 3 months GitHub - superfly/sprites-docs: 👾 Documentation for Fly.io Sprites · GitHub

Are we cooked chat?

Short answer: yes.

The longer answer is that there’s a lot of work underway on some of the fundamental storage stack underneath Sprites, which is stealing some of the feature development time (in exchange for unblocking a lot of said feature development). Hopefully there’ll be a lot more to share about that on the near horizon, but development is anything but dormant there

aside: sprites-js and the other SDKs are themselves a little underloved at the moment, if only because we mostly see people (and agents) consuming the API directly. I expect these will be brushed up in due course.
