Sprites control plane down?

I’m not able to interact with the Sprites control plane at all. Everything (ls, create, console) is erroring out e.g.

Error listing sprites: failed to list sprites: Internal Server Error

Error listing sprites: failed to list sprites: failed to list sprites: Get “https://api.sprites.dev/v1/sprites?max_results=100”: context deadline exceeded (Client.Timeout exceeded while awaiting headers)

Anyone else having issues? Don’t see any relevant status on the status page.

Yep having this issues as well. Love the concept but these things are hilariously unreliable.

Yeah, it is very cool though! I’m sure in a couple more months it will be good. But if there is anything you want to last when you come back or just to not get deleted, right now isn’t a good time to use them. One of experiments or POCs you alone are interested are great, but otherwise assume the work will be lost.

I’ve had some sprites that are still unable to connect for a couple weeks now that I did on them. Nothing critical, but had to redo some stuff. Hoping the forking feature comes out and this is less of an issue

Looks like it’s recovering/recovered. Agree that there have been some teething issues, particularly around re-warming cold sprites to handle HTTP requests. Fingers crossed it’s all tractable and just needs a bit of bug bashing, because I really like the ergonomics of Sprites, and better reliability + forking + support for custom domains would make them just about perfect for the kinds of things I want to use them for (PoCs/MvPs)

Hey folks, sorry for the disruption. We had a bad deploy that we were able to resolve before anyone had a chance to statuspage.

Thanks for the update @jfent. Is there another disruption right now?

I’m not aware of anything platform-wide when you posted. If you’re having issues, it’s probably best to start a new thread with specific details about the problem you’re having (logs/command failures/error responses/etc.)
