Sprite won't wake up - times out before it can mount the storage

I have a sprite that won’t wake up. When I hit it via the API, I can see that it’s trying to wake up, but it times out before it’s able to mount storage. Is this hopeless or is there a chance this thing might be salvageable? Most of my sprites are very disposable, but this one had something that I (stupidly) didn’t keep in version control.

In case a support person happens to see this, the name of the sprite is exact-hiring

If it’s gone, it’s not the end of the world. A hard lesson learned. But it’ll save me a few hours of retracing my steps if it can be brought back to life.

How do you know it is the storage that is the problem?

I have something with similar symptoms, I just can’t get into it anymore. Kinda annoying.
