Hello [Fly.io](http://Fly.io) team,

My production application scenthunter is currently down because [Fly.io](http://Fly.io) cannot provision a Machine on the physical host holding my existing volume.

The deployment error is:

“There isn’t enough capacity on the hosts holding the available volumes to create one or more Machines.”

Existing volume:

- App: scenthunter
- Volume: scenthunter\_data
- Volume ID: vol\_458x10mgepmny5j4
- Region: AMS
- Size: 2 GB
- Used storage: approximately 1,203 MB
- Current state: Created, unattached
- Encrypted: Yes

Could a [Fly.io](http://Fly.io) engineer please advise how to safely fork this volume onto another physical host and restore the application?

It is essential that the existing database and all its data are preserved.

Please do not delete, replace, reinitialize, or create an empty replacement for the original volume.

I do not have access to a terminal, so I would appreciate dashboard-based instructions if possible.

Thank you.

Hello @dalexmon! Sorry about the block here.

I can see that the volume has successfully attached to your app’s machine, which has been running in the past several minutes.

For forking: You should be able to fork any volume with the `fly volume fork` [command](https://docs.fly.io/volumes/volume-manage#create-a-copy-of-a-volume-fork-a-volume), or [create a copy](https://docs.fly.io/volumes/snapshots#restore-a-volume-from-a-snapshot) of it from one of its snapshots.

If you don’t have any access to the CLI, you can also fork the volume from the dashboard, visit the volume’s page at: `Dashboard > your app > your volume`. From here you should utilize the “Fork volume” button to create a copy of the volume to a healthier host.
