# PSA: Postmortem(s) rollup

Fast-forwarding six days, to the next Log entries under the rubric of June…

Apparently, the first was due to an accumulation of pending metrics (waiting for export from those edge nodes).

(And this sunburst overall, ☀, was very welcome insight into all four incidents, of course.)

Aside: A recent commit to the official docs repository introduced [explicit bounds on metrics,](https://fly.io/docs/monitoring/metrics/#retention-cost-and-limits) including a limit on the size of your app’s `/metrics` response, which people had [expressed doubts](https://community.fly.io/t/is-there-a-1mb-limit-for-metrics-processing/27889) about before.

(Metrics and logs have generally been getting overhauled and having their expectations clarified lately.)
