Sometimes I just want to deploy a small app on Fly for myself. I don’t want it on the public internet, and I don’t want to build a login system for something only I use. But I also want to open it wherever I am, without fiddling with networking every time. A bit of a contradiction.

So I made Fly Access. After the initial setup, you connect from your Mac’s menu bar, pick an app, and it opens in your browser. The app can stay entirely on Fly’s private network.

The menu also shows which apps are running and which are sleeping. Checking the list won’t wake anything up.

It’s a small macOS app, built for my own use. Sharing it here in case someone else wants the same thing.
