New Org API/CLI linking

Hi, does anyone know if it is possible (through API/CLI) to set a new org to bill to my existing org on file? I created an org programmatically, but can’t Link it to my existing org (not listed in selector). Any info on API org setups or app-level consumption insights appreciated.

Hi there any update on whether we can programatically setup unified billing? I’d like to setup org programatically and set there billing org to mine. I see this was discussed a bit back.. I also see in the graphql schema there’s a billingParentOrganizationId field.. but looks like I can’t hit it from the client.. I can create orgs but can’t change their billing methods. Any plans to make this available even if there’s no stable gurantees?

There’s no functionality to set the billing organization via API or CLI currently.

How do I assign it in the console if the org is not listed?

For reference, the only option to link an organization to another Billing organization is through the dashboard, see reference: Fly.io Billing · Fly Docs

With that said, I understand that you mentioned “assign” instead of “link” in your recent question. If this doesn’t pertain to linking an org, could you clarify what you mean by “assign” in your question?
