# New dashboard launch UX, who dis?

We’ve given our Launch an App from the dashboard experience a makeover! It’s now easier than ever to deploy an app from GitHub, now with cleaner config and fewer steps.

Awesome! Is this limited to only GitHub repos we own, or can this be used to launch from public/OSS repos as well?

Oh, that’s great! I should have clarified in my earlier comment, this includes repos that we don’t own and that we can’t write to, right? That used to not be supported, but if it is now, that’s wonderful!
