I’m planning to have customers point domains at app IP addresses with A records, and it would be a problem if the IPs were to ever change.
It’s best to tell you users to point to you using a CNAME when possible.
Public IPs are guaranteed not to change for your app for as long as it’s not-deleted and you’re paying your bill 
(or of course, if you remove the IPs from your app).
