Host Fly Node server on Route 53 subdomain

I have a sudomain on Route 53 that I want to point to a fly server, is this possible on the Fly.io free teir?

yep, just make a cname to your app’s fly.dev url and add a certificate

Would it work with an A record? Or not because the IPv4 is shared?
