When accessing servers in the NRT region from the western Japan, it seems that the connection is being routed through some edge server in the US. This is causing the response time of the server to exceed 200ms. I’ve confirmed that the response time drops to below 50ms when using a free VPN in Japan. Therefore it would be an issue with the routing from my ISP. I have attached a traceroute result. Thanks - I reached out to our network people, the tl;dr is there’s some routing issues on your ISP’s side (they’re preferring routes to lax over nrt), they’re reaching out to try and get it fixed. ---
