failed to set release status to 'running': Post "https://api.fly.io/graphql": read tcp ... connection reset by peer

I’ve seen a couple of messages mentioning this that were automatically closed after 7 days but I’m getting this error all the time when using the fly executable to deploy, list secrets, get status, etc.

Hi Julio,

We tweaked a couple of settings on our side, can you tell us if you see incidences of this problem going down? (ideally they’d go away entirely but - tell us what you see going forward).

Thanks. Just tried it on a couple of commands and saw 1 “read: connection reset by peer” out of ~6 times. I’ll work on this project more tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

:waving_hand: Could you run a

curl -I -H 'flyio-debug: doit' 'https://api.fly.io'

and send us the returned headers? That’ll help us track down what exactly is causing these resets.

I was facing the same issue. After many tries and different errors, it finally worked.

:waving_hand: we did some more messing around () and tuning in iad and gru (where issues have been reported in this thread), could you check this is still happening for you?
