We use Crane to push our image to fly in a Gitlab pipeline–has worked great for a while now but within the last few days we’ve been getting this error:
Error: failed to copy image: POST https://registry.fly.io/v2/<app-name>/blobs/uploads/?from=<gitlab-org>%2F<gitlab-repo-name>&mount=sha256<SHA-hash>&origin=REDACTED: NAME_UNKNOWN: app repository not found
This error disappears if we downgrade the version of Crane to 0.8.0 (current version is 0.9.0):
docker pull gcr.io/go-containerregistry/crane/debug:v0.8.0.
Since version 0.9.0 was released (on May 17) well before we started seeing the error, we’re wondering if this is due to some update on Fly’s end. Crane 0.8.0 works fine us, it’d just be nice to confirm the source of this error.
