Does a bucket region switch trigger a data migration process?

Hi there,

The Tigris dashboard allows to switch the bucket’s storage settings to a different region. Does this mean that switching a region (e.g. from ‘fra’ to ‘sin’) triggers a data migration process? This would be great, but I want to make sure… Else it would be better UX to not allow a change.

Hi - The location of existing data doesn’t change, but switching the region indicates that new data uploaded to Tigris will go to the new region first.
