Completely new user: Confirm your payment method to keep using our platform

Registered myself as a new user today

Added card information as asked to unlock functionality and that resulted in a banner showing up telling me that I’ve been marked as a high risk (CLI tool formulation). Following the guide to “validate” myself yielded no result and I’m not in the habit of just entering my payment details over and over.

Can I do anything to solve this and why should I not just walk away from a service that fails so bluntly while handling my payment info?
