# Cannot signup with GitHub, "something went wrong"

I’m unable to add my GitHub account. I wanted to signup, it takes me through the GitHub dialog (which successfully registers [fly.io](http://fly.io) as a GitHub app) but then I’m taken back to [fly.io](http://fly.io) with a small flash at the bottom of the page “something went wrong”. If I try more times, there is no GitHub screen, until I delete [fly.io](http://fly.io) as an authorized app.

I can’t use [fly.io](http://fly.io) until I can make this work, any ideas? The GitHub account t is not authorized for use wth any other [fly.io](http://fly.io) account. Frustrating, as I’d like some fly goodness!

Here’s the fix: go in, make an app, press “deploy your app inside GitHub” and add your org instead of yourself and it seems to work.

Hi there! Sorry for the trouble here - we’ve just rolled out a fix for this, so you should be able to connect your GitHub account now.
