Hi… Fly.io announced in September that they would start charging for these eventually—but still hasn’t begun to do so yet (as far as I know).

You can email billing@fly.io to get official confirmation of such things, in general. The community forum mostly (but not exclusively!) just gets you pointers and guesses from fellow users like myself.
(Unlike the other email addresses, that one doesn’t require an active Support plan.)
