Hey everyone.
In the past 24 hours I’ve had a huge spike in HTTP Response Time averages. It was previously in the 100-200 ms range, it’s currently in the 2-8 seconds range.
By going over logs, it seems to be related to the connection to the MPG cluster.
I was wondering if anyone is experiencing similar issues.
Have you some observability logging on the application side to confirm the MPG theory? Or does MPG feature a slow queries log, so you can see if something has changed on the database side?
What region in your database in, and is your app in the same region?
DB and App are both in IAD.
Logging for database queries indicates that they take seconds, when they should take miliseconds. Something about the managed postgres cluster is degraded.
