As per title, this doesn’t seem expected. I want to know that things will work for us and understand the service usage. It’s also important to trust what’s described works in that way too.
I’ve setup one pair of very small machines to host an API and metrics in that are low so I assume it’s not an overuse of credits.

Where did you read about the 7 day free trial? I don’t believe they have such a thing in the past couple years.
The first line of the sign up email says it’ll be good for 7 days.
“ Welcome to Fly.io! You’ve signed up with a free trial, which is good for 7 days.”

Ah this must be a relatively new thing. There’s been reports that the trial ended just a few hours after… you should send an email to billing@fly.io
